Initial Evaluation/Consultation
$145/ 60 minutes
Thorough mental health history, medical history, childhood experience, medication history, and all other pertinent information will be obtained during this encounter to enable proper diagnosing and treatment.
Follow Up/Med Management
$65 / 25 minutes
Medication review for efficacy, dose adjustment, side effects, refills, discontinuation, and review of symptoms after initial consultation.

About Your Provider: Jennifer A. Kania
Jennifer A. Kania is ANCC board- certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ 2011, and Master of Science in Nursing from Rivier University in Nashua, NH 2018. She joined the US Army Reserves as a commissioned officer from 2012 to 2015 as part of the Army Nurse corps and Medical corps. Jennifer provided 7 years of nursing care in various settings- medical/surgical, telemetry/cardiology and psychiatry before becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2018. Jennifer worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital- Milton, MA, Walden Behavioral health center-Waltham, MA, Bournewood psychiatric hospital- Chestnut Hill, MA, and University of New Mexico Medical Group Behavioral Health Clinic-Rio Rancho, NM.
Areas of interest include Trauma, PTSD, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Panic Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Insomnia, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD, ADD, OCD, Stress, Psychotic Disorders, Anger issues, LGBQT health, Racial minority issues and Substance use disorders. Jennifer is also a certified Suboxone provider however, due to the constraints and limitations from the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no initiation of Suboxone treatment.
Jennifer believes in providing a holistic and individualized care tailored to the specific needs of each patient. I combine psychopharmacology and brief counselling as much as time allows. Languages spoken: English, German, & Twi.
